Sustainable Living Lab at the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana





GreenWB Living Lab at the Faculty of Economy, University of Tirana as part of the “Sustainable Living Labs for Regional Entrepreneurial Cooperation (GreenWB)” project is operating as a multi-stakeholder innovation hub, bringing together public authorities, private sector organizations, academia, and civil society to support collaboration and co-creation.
By promoting structured collaboration among relevant actors, the Living Lab will facilitate the exchange of knowledge and the development of coordinated, evidence-based solutions addressing shared societal and environmental challenges. Following the inauguration, the laboratory was presented at a workshop and will be featured at upcoming events at the Faculty of Economiy.
Through targeted capacity-building activities, joint initiatives, and institutional cooperation, the Living Lab will strengthen organizational capacities and contribute to a resilient innovation ecosystem that supports entrepreneurship, the green transition, and sustainable development. The Living Lab will promote experimentation and mutual learning, facilitating the transformation of green ideas into practical and market-ready solutions.
The Living Lab will support existing businesses by providing access to expertise, resources, and professional networks. For potential entrepreneurs, the Living Lab will serve as an inclusive entry point to entrepreneurship by offering mentoring, training, and support. In addition, the Living Lab also serves as the main infrastructure for the implementation of the pilot projects envisaged under this project and provides students with experiential learning opportunities, enhancing their skills and increasing their employability.
